- A question asking about “Britain” may use everyday shorthand, but exact geography questions require the formal distinction.

2.1 Introduction
Chapter 2 is a short geography lesson with an important political distinction. Learn which countries form the UK, which land area is called Great Britain and which nearby territories are linked to the Crown without being part of the UK.
